Olajire Awofisibe is an accomplished financial and credit specialist with over 21 years of experience in the financial sector. His work life spans extensively across credit & risk management, branch operations, retail, commercial & corporate banking (telecoms & energy), profit center management, branch management, commercial and corporate credit analysis, mortgage underwriting, and product development.

For the past 12 years, he has been involved with the development of structures, products, processes, policies, risk management, and controls framework for consumer lending.

Olajire received his B.Sc. in Statistics (Honors) from the University of Ilorin in 1998. There, he developed his passion for numbers and analytics, focusing on topics such as credit and financial management. After graduation, he had the compulsory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) at the Kazaure Secondary School in Jigawa State where he lectured mathematics and further mathematics.

Olajire is also a Chartered Accountant, Business Analyst & Risk Manager. He won an industry award from the Institute of Credit Administration as the Risk Manager of the Year in 2019.

He is currently an Assistant General Manager (AGM) in a banking financial institution.
